MoveStrong Outdoor Fitness Space at YMCA Sonoma: A Versatile Training Hub for All Ages and Abilities

MoveStrong is proud to have partnered with the YMCA Sonoma to upgrade their fitness offerings with a state-of-the-art outdoor space that offers a diverse range of exercise options for users of all ages and ability levels. This fully customized outdoor training zone is designed to support functional fitness, strength training, and mobility work, making it the perfect environment for community wellness.

 

A Fitness Space for Everyone

The new YMCA Sonoma outdoor fitness area is more than just a place to work outβ€”it's a space that encourages movement, strength, and well-being for everyone. Whether beginner, experienced athlete, or someone simply looking to stay active, this space is designed to make fitness accessible and enjoyable for all. 

 

Outdoor Functional Fitness

At the heart of the outdoor fitness area is the complete FitGround system. Key components include an outdoor squat rack, flat bench, drive sled, battle rope station, and elite parallel bars for a wholesome training experience, from strength training to conditioning and cardio. Specialty surfacing provides guidance and training graphics for additional exercises,

 To keep the space organized and functional, the design includes modular dumbbell racks for weights not in use.

 

Customized T-Rex Multi Station for Advanced Training

For those looking to take their workouts to the next level, the T-Rex Multi Station is a standout feature in the YMCA Sonoma outdoor space. This customized setup features a bridge with climber bar and cliff hanger, an adjustable ab board, a Y-extender with elevate trainer, medicine ball target and loop holes for fun and challenging full body workouts enhancing strength and coordination.


This addition updates the YMCA's offerings, providing members with more options for strength, mobility, and functional training in a vibrant outdoor setting.
